एअर इंडिया की फुकेत-दिल्ली फ्लाइट AI2379 के पायलट-इन-कमांड का मारिजुआना टेस्ट पॉजिटिव आया है. सूत्रों ने मंगलवार को बताया कि पायलट के सैंपल की कन्फर्मेटरी लैब जांच में मारिजुआना की पुष्टि हुई है. यह मामला 4 अगस्त को इसी फ्लाइट के अचानक करीब 300 फीट नीचे आने की घटना के कुछ दिनों बाद सामने आया है. इस घटना में कम से कम 17 यात्री और क्रू मेंबर घायल हुए थे.
