शहर में अवैध निर्माण और अतिक्रमण के खिलाफ प्रशासन ने कार्रवाई तेज कर दी है। पुराने बाईपास क्षेत्र में बुधवार को नगर परिषद और प्रशासन की संयुक्त टीम ने 25 से अधिक चिन्हित मकानों और निर्माणों के खिलाफ बुलडोजर कार्रवाई शुरू की। एक दिन पहले संबंधित निर्माणों पर लाल निशान लगाकर लोगों को अतिक्रमण स्वयं हटाने की चेतावनी दी गई थी। इसके बावजूद कार्रवाई नहीं होने पर प्रशासन भारी पुलिस जाप्ते के साथ मौके पर पहुंचा और जेसीबी व बुलडोजर की मदद से चिन्हित निर्माण हटाने शुरू किए।
